Imagine that you’re writing a message to a philosophy Ph.D such as myself… well, let’s just say that this is not the message that you should write:

Sweet Jesus. Might I recommend worship at the Church of Proper English, first and foremost?

    I’m an atheist when it comes to the Church of Proper English. But I am a serious believer when it comes to the Church of Context and Rhetorical Situation.

    I concluded that people write that way because they are embarrassed about effective writing or they spent a lot of time sending text messages on phones with numeric keypads. Ignorance is another possibility.
