… it effectively reveals the depth of our culture’s assumptions about gender roles too. Yes, the examples are extreme but it’s still very, very strange.

    Outside of certain clubs in Los Angeles, you can see certain lesbians doing exactly these types of things, in their efforts to “pick up” women.

    It’s fairly revolting behavior, regardless of which sex does it.

      It may be enlightening to consider how the actions of women incentivize or constrain such “revolting behavior” in men. After all, that behavior does not occur in a bubble.

      Culturally speaking, it was not always this way. It was not until after women’s lib that you could commonly witness scenes like this. It is largely women’s behavior that changed as a result of the sexual revolution, while men simply adapted to that change. Fast-forward to today, feminism blames men for “objectifying women” while simultaneously evading that their own ideology is the proximate cause of that.
