- Injured Dog Rescued From Mountain; Owner Who Left It There Wants It Back: This man abandoned his dog to die on a mountain, without making any effort to recover her. He doesn’t deserve to get her back, and I don’t think he should be legally entitled to claim her. So I hope that the dog’s rescuers are allowed to adopt her. That would be a fabulous win-win!
