Due to the July 4th holiday, Philosophy in Action Radio will be taking a break this Wednesday evening. Hence, my next broadcast will be on Sunday morning. In the meantime, I hope that you enjoy a fabulous Independence Day!
I’ve got a slew of awesome guests slated for upcoming weeks — Jason Stotts on how bad ideas can ruin your sex life, Paul Hsieh on what ObamaCare means for you, and Santiago Valenzuela on the workings of the DiSC personality profile. So be sure to tune in for upcoming shows!
Unfortunately, Independence Day will not be so pleasant for us this year. We’re living in a tinderbox here in Colorado, so fireworks are a major threat. Douglas County has banned them — and rightly so. Yes, I plan to call the police if any of my neighbors set them off.
Even in better conditions, I’m not much of a fan of fireworks… they’re all style and no plot! They make me sleepy.
