Help Me Test Live Webcasting

I need your help! I’m considering using ustream.tv for live webcasting. I’m hoping to use it for some projects of my own, as well as some exciting new events with Objectivist scholars and intellectuals.

However, before I do anything serious with the platform, I need to test it. So tomorrow morning — Sunday, that is — I’m going to hold an informal web chat. You can ask me anything you please, but I’d love some questions like those I’ve answered for my Rationally Selfish Q&A. (In fact, I might convert those Q&As to weekly webcasts. That would be more fun for me than writing up answers as blog posts, I think.)

Basically, you’ll be on text-only chat asking questions, and I’ll be on video answering questions. It should be fun — whether in a “hey, that was an interesting discussion” or “wow, that was a train wreck” kind of way. :-)

The test will be in the hour before the Twitter Brunch. Feel free to drop by any time during that hour — and please let me know if you have any problems.

What: Rationally Selfish Q&A, Test Webcast
When: Sunday, October 17, 11 – 12 pm ET (10 – 11 am CT, 9 – 10 am MT, 8 – 9 am PT
Where: http://www.ustream.tv/channel/dianahsieh

Once you arrive, you’ll need to click on the yellow “join crowd” button.
