    I think it is inexcusable that someone who specializes in ethics could ever support, let alone link to, the nonsense advocated in the above article. I can’t even begin to argue with a person who thinks that dropping a nuclear bomb on a major city should be considered a matter of worthy of debate.

      *sigh* I haven’t read the article in question, and I’d probably disagree with it. These posts are created from blog feeds, not hand-picked by me. I don’t agree with everything that TOS does, and their inclusion in the Activism Recap doesn’t imply that I do.

      That being said, I’m not categorically opposed to the use of nuclear weapons: I think they were rightly used in Japan to end WW2. I’m not in favor of their use in the Middle East or anywhere else at present. We’d have to develop and implement a proper foreign policy before that would ever be justifiable.
