Over on Oaktree, Oakes and I have gone back and forth a bit on the costs and benefits of local versus web software and system. I thought some geeks might wish to chime in with their own two electrons. (Only in support of my side, however!)
I know that I’m more fussy than most people about my computing environment, but I do wonder how many standard deviations I am from the norm, whether of all computer users or just geeks.
